Everyone has that one special day

..and it's finally my turn... Hah!

My grandparents used to get mad at me and say things like "Tumatanda ka ng wala kang pinagkatandaan!" which always made me think how does one measure maturity? Do I have to act stiff and adult-like? Do I have to talk seriously without any hint of humor but green? Do I have to achieve some level of experience and knowledge to be able to say "Been there, done that" to some random confused adolescent trying to find meaning for his existence?

For one thing, I know it is not measured by numbers. Listening perhaps is the first step, followed by accepting, and then doing. It's basically like going through everyday with the mentality of a robot servant. haha.

Anyway, people grow on their own pace and I know I'm taking my time. It doesn't matter what age or predicament, everyone can still keep that child in their heart. Although there's someone I know who has been doing the exact opposite, one chance to hit the jackpot. hahaha.
